I went to Delft last weekend. Roaming around town with what so-called Kick-Bike. It was fun until someone gets hurt, right? Well, what I mean is that the first fifteen minutes was fine and cool, then it turned to be a hell of working out, not bad since I don't have gym member here. LOL. Back to topic, my daily look that is, I simply wore black from head to toe that day, with the exception of my leopard scarf, of course...

WHAT'S UP: I' moving to Rotterdam but before.....

I don't know how to begin this post, but yeah I'm moving to Rotterdam, for at least a year. And dear fellow bloggers, I'm gonna miss my home town, but Europe had been my dream, and having the chance to live there is fantastic. But before I actually go, I managed some time to visit Gili Trawangan. It's a heaven-like island around Lombok, Indonesia. Such a cool place to spend summer and being 'beachy'. Anyway, any suggestions to where I should go in Europe? My mind has been dreaming about Barcelona (y'know because I wanna watch FCB match and see David Villa. Silly reasons, or not), Venice, Berlin, Paris, Bruges, London? Vote and help me deciding! Lotsa thanks....

WHAT'S UP: Universal Studio S'pore and then some...

I'm back! and I'm back with stories! I just went to Universal Studio Singapore, since (if you notice) I'm a movie buff, so it's basically a dream came true, it's a first step though because my ultimate dream is Universal US (now let's say a little prayer and a lot more saving!). The place is actually nice, some rides are thrilling, some are so-so, but since it's still developing, I think it'll be so much better when it's fully constructed. Here's a glimpse, along with my (unnecessary trademark) comments!

Me and the giant print-ad of David Villa. Errr... Do you know that I'm an avid aficionado of the Spanish National Football Team? Do you realize that this pic isn't related to this post? Do you know that almost all the member of Spanish team is adorable, no? Like Cesc? Alonso? Pique? Still no? If you agree, I love you!

Anyway, welcome to Universal Studio Singapore! The huge ball, I mean globe, behind me is a trademark of them. When I saw it (and the Universal theme song/ET score start playing) I could cry like I'm seven whatsoever.

In front of Lights Camera Action, which you can see set-pieces, special effects, and of course, some action! Also introduction from Mr. Spielberg himself. He's my hero since I was kid.

Popcorn Car. It brings popcorn. Hmm, What else? Yeah it sells popcorn!
Souvenir shop for all the touristy shopaholic. I like the store window display.
But I didn't buy much there.
I fancy this store right when I saw it. There's something special about the design,
the black-white-red color domination, the sign, or is it just me?

Yes, Jurassic Park does exist! Meet Dinosaurs and the likes... and the ride here is one of the coolest, because (spoiler alert) you can meet T-Rex!
The newspaper looks classic, which is why I took a pic of these stuff.

Battle Star Galactica. The most thrilling ride, too bad it haven't been operated yet.

What does fashion mean for you?
Without fashion my life wouldn't be so complete. And when I try to be fashionable my confident is co-accidentally up to higher level. I guess for me, fashion has became a part of my life, that's all.

Describe your own style!
I am vintage, classic and contemporary girl who loves wearing something different from the other girl out there and love lotsa colors. But i will turn to boyish look when I'm lazy to think what I should wear.

What are your 'must-have' fashion items?
Boyfriend blazer, plain maxi skirt/dress, and white tank.

Where do you usually shop for your clothes and stuff?
Honestly, I usually shop online. Because it's so much easier for me to shop there even sometimes online shop doesn't provide good stuffs as they had shown on their blog. I'm too lazy to shop at store, cause I can spend the whole day but then I don't get what I want and I'm tired, LOL. I also like to shop at thrift store or a market. They're selling cheap stuffs. By the way, I love Cotton on and F21 too , their designs are chic. TopShop and Zara are also good, but it's over my limit, hehehe.

Where (or from whom) do you get your fashion inspiration?
Of course I gotta say I'm inspired by Diana Rikasari. She makes me feel like playing with style. I started to now this world (fashion blogging and fashion itself) after I read her blog. I think she's so cute when she's trying to put something different to her daily style. yeah.

Your fave items from your closet are...
T-strap shoes. After long times I've been looking for this type of shoes, I finally bought 'em early this month. I also love my vintage blazers, my white tank, and my F21 loose tee.

If you get invited to the fashion week, whose designer show you want to be in the front row?
Alexander McQueen. Wow, his designs are so unique and 'crazy' !!!! Too bad he died too soon, I'm kinda sad about it. The other, I don't know, maybe a local designer, Johnathan Liang, his designs turned out weirdly, hehe...

The fashion world in another 10 years will be... (your own version)
Can I say, it's a roll-back to the 70's era. Vintage everywhere, floral dress, clog, high-waist jeans, leather, pump-shoes, baggy shirt, gold jewelry etc. and everyone will be very very brave to show-off their own style.

I'm a movie geek, would you please name some movies that stick in your mind or change a whole perception of something?
Waterworld! I'm imagining the world without land. Hmm... how it'll be? No mall, no shopping, no fashion week, no bazaar. Oh no! and eat seafood everyday? huh. Then does blogging even exist? Hmmm...

Daily look - 59: Those heels are made for walkin' (or not)

It was an afternoon where I got nothing else to do than just fooling around, so we hit the office rooftop and made a photo session. Turned out, it was cool! Speaking of 'coolness', I thought it'd be cool to wear those colorful heels to work, catching some attention, but oh my, after 3 or 4 hours, my feet started to feel tired and a bit hurt...Well, they said no pain no gain. I said, 'good luck with that!'.

WHAT'S UP: Bali Bound

I'm happy that this year I gotta travel to nice places. In December last year I went to Bali then Surabaya for what-so-called "workation". Early on January, I visited Medan for another "workation" and as been written below, I had a quick trip to Penang, Malaysia. So, to complete it all, I went back to Bali for... yeah, another "workation". The agenda was to cover cool beaches around and just have a sip of 'Beachy' kinda life, hahaha... also,I got a chance to experience such a great hotels there.... Seems so 'touristy', but here's my photo diary! (All photos were taken by me! Yeah, Ive been trying to embrace a life of a full-journo, y'know writing, taking pics, editing, traveling, light packing, life n love experiencing, y'know silly cool things haha... )

The hotel where I stayed. O-CE-N by Outrigger. I love the tricky multi-leveled design and
I like the way their swimming pools look like small blue lagoons.

This one is my fave of 'em all. Padang-Padang Beach, a rather small beaches but full of nice looking, hot-bod guys, hahaha. Ok I stop! I love the beach simply b/c its clear blue sea
and soft white sands. Dope!

Balangan Beach. Quite isolated, but worthy, esp. when all
you wish for is a one nice sunbathing session.

Lovina Beach. It doesn't have a very impressing shore, but what's amazing was
that you can see real dolphins migrating in a quite big group.

a morning person who does breakfast, so yay to my face that didn't look like a lazy kiddo. Oh yeah, and see that hat? My sister's, but lately I'm fond of it.

March 22nd - 23rd 2010 - Cobra Starship was coming to town and I got the chance to meet and interview them in person. So, since I kinda like 'em & their tunes, I was excited to do the chat with Nate and Vicky. Oh, and I got myself Gabe Saporta for a pic too... Anyway, the best thing about the interview was they're nice and Vicky loves my shoes (that is my buckle shoes, which had me bankrupt in a while, *grin). Speaking about the concert, it was cool and kinda funny. Great, just great!

Nice things about this event were that you can meet a lot of fashionistas and you can find some more affordable outfits, shoes and bags. The bad things were the shoes that I wanted was quiet pricey and the jeans-shirt was gone before I landed my hand on it, too bad....

WHAT'S UP: JAVA JAZZ 2010

Jaza Jazz was back and i was on duty! It was a 3-days jazz festival, apparently one of the biggest jazz event around Asia, and i gotta cover it all up for the magazine. The good things were I got free passes, met John Legend and the up and coming singer Griffith Frank and lotsa freebies during the event ( esp. drinks, ha!). On the other side, since the venue was THAT big, so I and my fella, Arletha gotta running round n round to catch up most of the music performance. The highlights though, were John Legend, Babyface, Eric Bennet and Toni Braxton. Here's a glimpse of what's going on those days...

Ok, so I start out this new section in my blog called GET FAMILIAR! which is we, as in blogger, exchange our profiles and photos to be featured in each others blog. My first project was with Lazy Manxcat, she's a style blogger from Delhi. I wouldn't say much about her, only that she's cool and her styles are...... *fiuhhhhh* extra-fascinating ( I envy her outfits so much). So, please see her pics and interview below. 1. Please briefly introduce yourself ?

This is the Manxcat here :)

2. What inspires you in dressing up?

It's a feel good factor for myself to look good. I wish the whole world could just dress up everyday for no occasion, no nothing but for themselves.

3. What is your must have fashion items?

The best fitted jeans ever, an over sized men's shirt (its sooo useful), Rayban wayfarers, a hat- preferably a bowler and lots and lots of accessories.

4. Can you tell me about the fashion scene in Delhi?

It's better than any other place in India! People love to dress up here. I love it here. Fashion has become so important now to people here and its super awesome. You have the traditional people in saris and salwars and you have the uber trendy people strutting down the road in the season's must-haves all together.

5. How do you finally make your own fashion blog?

One boring afternoon during my interning months. It was a long time plan but i was always to lazy to begin it. I really needed to get started with my writing and the fact that i was staring at a PC with full internet access all day long and basically nothing to do was pretty inspiring. lol.

6. Any particular designers that you adore? And how far have they influence your style?

Alexander McQueen for his sheer creativity and out of the box concepts (RIP Mr. McQueen). Alber Elbaz (Lanvin) for his elegance. He can create such beautiful dresses and they are all droll- worthy. Christopher Bailey (Burberry) for the ultimate anything. His innovations with the trench coats and redefining Burberry says it all. I wish he was my God father!

7. Who is your fashion icon? Why?

I can't really say that i have one fashion icon as such to look upto because everything and everyone is pretty much impressive in their own style! But i would have to say that i simply adore Kate Moss for being the ultimate fashion icon that she is. One day she's the rock chick of the century and the next day, she is Cinderella at the ball. Same goes for Lady Gaga. i Love, love Lady Gaga. I would really love to dress like her!

8. If you have your own fashion label? What would you name it? And How’s it gonna look like?

Wow!! i think i would just simply call it 'L'. It'll be such a variety because i am a fashion chameleon. I would love to incorporate some madness and rock chic with a touch of elegance. I don't like clean cut clothes. I love mix'n'match so yeah, it would be a goody bag!

9. Suggest some Fashion Blog that people should check out!

Nadia at froufrouu.blogspot.com is simply wonderful! i'm so in love with her style! Karla at karlascloset.blogspot.com is also another chick who simply rocks everything she has. Alix at thecherryblossomgirl.com was my first inspiration for a blog and her posts seem to always get better and better.

10. If you have a chance to go back in a particular fashionable era, what era do you prefer?

I am tempted to say the 80s but i would love the 20s in France. In the time of Coco Chanel's reign.

11. Aside from fashion, what do you like to do?

I love to write and read. It's always been a passion. I am juggling 3 books at once right now and it's not very easy! lol. but it's always been that way for me. I also love music. I am a pretty much of an indoor person so the outside world and its fancies don't attract me much.

12. What fashion movie that makes you going “crazy”?

The September Issue, Factory Girl, Marie Antoinette and Breakfast at Tiffany's (All time favorite, I watch it all the time especially when i am really sad and lonely).

13. Do you always follow the trend?

Not at all. If it's in trend, i don't wear it. Once it's out, I go for it.

14. What’s your favorite pieces from your wardrobe?

My NEXT Military jacket, My vintage school boy blazer, MNG bowler hat, all my shoes, shades and accessories, Distressed MNG jeans, Obama T shirt and and and.. a hell ofa lot more! i love my wardrobe! ^_^

My last post was about things i bought during holiday, so i suppose, now it's about time to wear the stuff, started with my dreamy Zara boots. It's high, it's black, and it's surprisingly comfy. Darn how i love these booties! Well, today, i like it simple, with tights, my boyish blazer, and my stripy tee, and i'm done... anyway, the hat was borrowed from Deetz!

WTF? Holiday's Splurging!

Ok, Xmas and New Year Holiday was one thing that i've been waiting for, i just wanna have a little R & R before the biz start all over again. So, 2009? A lot of things went on, got depressed, done three jobs (one of 'em is being a Contributing Editor at Total Film Indonesia, what a dream for a movie buff like me) at the same time, being happily single, bonded with my cousins (like it never happens before, i love 'em so much), Got 7 in IELTS, done great fashion photo shoots (i tried to be fashion director thingy, it worked quite well, yay!), and oh yeah, officialy graduated!

Let's move on, here's some things i bought during holiday... most of 'em in black, don't blame winter season, blame my 'gloomy' taste...

Shoulder Pad from Topshop. It actually looks good, but it such abig trend now,
i think i better wear it when it's outta trend, for real!

My dream shoes from Zara, after lotsa saving, i got it, and it 50% off, cool! I love the masculine
look and the buckle makes it even more edgier. The heels are comfy, definitely a plus!

Cropped Tee from Topshop, it was so damn cheap, i gotta buy it, and it's black, my fave color!

This one i bought earlier before holiday even started. It's Zara Kids. The Burberry-esque cutting
made this trench to die for, relatively speaking. And it got hoodie, which i like so much!

Baseball Jersey, i bought it for fun and well it's incredibly cool when you wear it, surprise surprise!
Gotta mix and match it to make it stylish, i love fashion challenge!

Daily Look - 51: Franz Ferdinand @ Playground !!!

Playground was just on, one of the biggest dance-music festival in South East Asia. Again as a journo, i gotta come for free! The main stage was the center of attention since Franz Ferdinand was playing there. So, as they were hitting the stage, everyone's singing along, jumping around, a guy even stepped on my left foot (ouch!). But for me, the fun was more than just the music cuz lotsa peeps looked so stylish, some of 'em cliche, but some of 'em did pretty good with their effortlessly cool street style. Daily Look 50: Reccesionista (One Vest 2 Ways)

Due to my interest in an article titled "Reccesionista" in an earlier edition of Teen Vogue, so i try to buy less clothes (for saving) and do smart-shopping, which likely (as i know) that i supposed to buy one or two items and that stuffs can be mix and match through the whole wardrobe i had have. That way i can 'gain' more looks without shopping too much.

So, i decided to buy a vest in Forever21 just a couple weeks ago and tried to match it with my clothes. Turned out this vest is a real inVESTment, cause i can wear it with almost anything! This post would be showing only two styles, but actually ( honestly too) i did more than two looks w/ this vest, oh proud of me self!

Day 1: I mixed the vest with one-piece dress (Petite Cupcakes), blue tights, grey boots, and a pink ribbon belt as a quirky detail (H&M).
Day 2: I wanted the layer-look so i wore a stripe long sleeve (Forever21), then asymetrical stripe loose top to top it off, then the vest as the outer wear. The electric blue skinny jeans added a color to make it more interesting.

So, as they said that i'm a heavy online user (or as i said online-whore, pardon my lingo), i got this invitation to join MyPulau.com as an Online Activist. All i gotta do was attending their re-launching event at an island named Pulau Ayer (Local Blogger should know this place) then talking 'bout the web and post some pics, so here i go. MyPulau.com is a One Stop Web or All in One Web for social networking, sharing interests with others, joining community, status update (for you FB and Twitter-whore), and even for Shopping (for you Shopaholic and Sale-Hunter).

Their re-launching event was quite different cuz we (bloggers, communities, media & all) had to go to an island and did a game called "The Island Race". This was a team game and more like a reality show competition where you have to race to win the big price. What's the challange? From Jetskiing, Ring Tossing, Blind Volleyball, Guessing Songs, Counting Bridge Woods, to Water Bike Race and Canooing! Crazy? Yes, but lotsa fun and funny! My team lost but we had fun and it was such a funny experience!

Daily Look - 48: FaceHunter Party

So, that blogger dude Facehunter was visiting Jakarta and made a party @ 365 Echobar. The place was packed all night, everybody wanted a piece of him, for sure. I went there to see how he works, cause to be honest i don't do club or partyhopping or whatevs you guys call it, hihi so i felt a bit weird and uneasy, though i had a good time with bunch of friends, and my boss (yes, he was there too), he paid all the expenses, that was my drinks and foods, cheers!

Let's play a bit, i wanna make a list of the reasons why i hate party (that hectic party y'know! I still love Bday party, Halloween party, Wedding party, Farewell party, Pajamas party, etc) :
1. It's crowded by unconscious peeps
2. I dont match the peeps there, i look like an uncool geeky hi-school kiddo compares to those sexy tall ladies
3. I feel insecure
4. The scene makes me traumatic due to some party experiences i did when i was younger (aha!)
5. I can't do cool dance to the music
6. Because that kinda party doesn't play songs like a rock concert does, hihihi
7. I look stupid cause all i can do is sitting around and taking photos, still i'm a cam-whore

** for you who doesn't like partying too, you can add some reasons. For you who likes to party, just do your own thing, i don't mind and don't mean to bother, it's just me hihihi or you can send me some cool party pics you attend, that's more like it!

Late posting has became my bad habit, but i guess it's okay since i got reasons, such as too much work load, be home late, etc. So, these photos below were supposed to be posted last week when i hit 22 years old, yeah my bday was last week's 21st october. I used to fancy bday, but since i'm getting older and older, i just consider my bday as one of those days i have to pass, though many thanks for all the peeps who wrote me bday greeting and wishes through my FB page. Daily Look - 45: It's all 'bout the Hat

The title was indeed refers to my hat, an early birthday present from my bestie at office, namely Febby. And why the hat seems so much interesting to me is b'cause it's the hat i had been looking for. It's more look alike the one Alexander Delarge wearing in Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange, the masterpiece from the director i adore. So, i was proudly wearing it around the public space, even though some peeps would say "what the hell?", so what the hell with them too, i don't give a damn. And it's got more 'comical' since i brought along an umbrella, but no i wasn't chanelling Chaplin, it's Alex Delarge for movie geek sake.

So, this is supposed to be my Saturday's post, then again i had things to do, and due to that, it's a late post all over again. But i can say i was having one of my greatest Saturday, since i got this opportunity to chat up with Lenka (The OZ singer) and Raygun (The British band). Yes this time, Thanks to my JOB (there i said it!). It was quite an fascinating interview, Lenka was this pretty cute lady, nice voices, inspiring, and actually really really talented. Meanwhile Raygun was AWESOME, why? Well, beside their good looks (but of course!), They were joking a lot, and definitely so fun to chat with. I like the vocalist's style, Ray that is. I can see he's having this huge collection of frickin' edgy jacket i wish i had. Anyways, here some pics!

I can say now i'm actually back to work, since that holiday and all, i was too much drowned into the 'day-off' vibe, i was pretty lazy. As I said in the previous posting that i was about to go to The All American Rejects concert, and so did I. And it got even better cause I meet them in person (thanks to my job as journalist). So, once again, my tacky side was out and I got my picture taken with the guys, Tyson, Nick, dan Mike. While Chris was gone before i even noticed, hihihi. The next day, i went to the concert with Anggun (my cousin) and hell yeah, we sang along, jumping around, and dissing about a weird guy who stood tall in front of us (watch out your tall head big guy). Meanwhile Tyson and the band hit the stage crazily, we lovvvvvveeeeeeeeee 'em so much...

Daily Look 35 : Happy Campers

Been long time since my last posting, and just a week ago i decided to went camping with some college friends. Turned out the whole camping idea was awesome, we did a nice BBQ dinner, then playing cards inside the tent and talking about True Blood. Yes, can you believe that? We're up hill and all we could think was True Blood and vampire Bill, and vampie Eric (i'm officially Team Eric now, hehehe), then the next morning we checked out the waterfall, cool aite? It's like Jason Mraz's I'm Yours video, hmm not that cool though ahahaha

Daily look - 34 : 3-days NON STOP rock festival

I'm all exhausted after 3 days non stop rock festival in my town, named Java Rockin'land. It was big, and it was so darn awesome. The line-up including Melee, Mew, and Third Eye Blind. So, me and some cousins attended this friggin' cool festival like nobody's business. Pretty much a warming up before All American Rejects hit our town on 17th August. Guess who's gonna come? Yap, me again and some friends, life never been better before.

Went nuts at midnite at MR BIG at the center stage
singing out loud. Love the crowd and the ambiance that night.

Last days, and i was standing still in front of the main stage
for Third Eye Blind. Frontman Stephan Jenkins have been my dream since
elementary school so i was basically look like an idiot while staring
at him pointless and screming the songs at the same time. Yikes! ahahaha

* After all, i wish there's more rock festival like this in my country with more international band. My wish list: Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, We The Kings, Boys Like Girls, Fall Out Boy, and The Script!

Finally i could pull off my latest buy, which was my lovely jeans jacket, it's quite a splurge when i bought it, but i'm sure that thing gonna be worn like thousand times more. What makes it interesting is that the jacket was designed and or cut like a biker jacket, not that usual jeans jacket i used to see. I feel the rebellious vibe and the edgy side effect when i wear it. So, since shopping's not a sin, and i paid it with my own cash, i guess it's a win win solution >> I'm bankrupt, the store got loads of cashes, and that is it. No "shop til drop" session until......undecided times.

In order to extend my 'boys got style' section in this blog sidebar and just to have some fun (and i haven't got the time to post another daily look yet), so i just wanna post some boys' looks that stole my attention, started with band members. I mean if a guy has a good look, has a nice style, and being in a successful band, that equals "dude, you rocks!" ahahaha let's take a look and compare who's really got the sense of fashion!

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy. He's endearing attitude + hoodie + baby bronx + million of dollars, Geez he's massive. Anyway, i love his style. Simply rocking!

Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys and The Last Shadow Puppets. British musician is way too cool. Classic meets messy look = perfect!

Tyson Ritter of All American Reject. His style is so easy and cool, and it's a plus for his showing up on the runway year ago. Way to go Tyson!
Jay Lyon of Tamarama. Maybe he's sort of new in the business, but...that choices of outfits and megawatt smile makes us go 'lalala'

Brendon Urie of Panic At The Disco. I like guys with coat. So, he's in!

Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls. Genuinely i've already love his band. But since it's about fashion, so i think he's good. Biker jacket? Never wrong. And the scarf? It's a trend. So, 3.5 stars out of 5 for him, fair enough! I give another star if he calls me (pardon my dreaming!)

Will Cameron of Blondelle (not anymore). Another british guy whose style i adore. With that red hair, Will could make a scene anywhere.

Alex Gaskarth of All Time Low. Dunno why, but i got a thing with guys' messy hair, i think that's cute,no? It's cool then. As a rocker, he's quite simple, but you don't want your man wearing tights and mini skirt, aite? So, Alex you're officially one of that stylish guy!

Just got time to post my look in the last weekend. So, i just got some extra cash and ended up bought a black long blazer i've been craving for and a stripes loose top that really into my head, and my style of course. So, i splurge and didn't feel sorry 'bout that cause the things will be worn like over and over again..ahahahaha what a nice weekend! But, now that i get back to work, the jobs are getting more and more challanging, odd enough that i feel excited about that, sometimes workloads can be fun, errrrr i'm weird!

Like i said in the earlier post 2 or 3 days ago, i would attend the opening night of JFFF 2009, and yep, i was there last night. There was a big fashion show by (more or less) 50 local designers and also plenty of food booths (yummy!). The theme of the event was Loca Fore, means a passion and love of local fashion and culture. It was held in an open air area of La Piazza, and the places, which was decorated in a tradisional theme, was so colorful and fun. Of course i brought my camera along and took some photos. It's time for Jakarta Fashion & Food Festival 2009. I attended the press conference this afternoon and found that this event will be held from May13th to 23rd. Around 55 local designers will do their fashion shows and i bet hundreds of food stahls will please your appetite. So, for you in town, you might join the fabolous event, who knows who you'll meet or what'll you get down there...see ya when i see ya! I'm thinking about taking some photos out of that festival...

While everybody busy wearing their latest leather jacket, i think i want to moving on. Well, you should too. Put a twist in your look by wearing denim jacket, it's gonne be huge, they (i mean people) just doesn't realize it. But, remember to buy denim jacket, which model's more edgy ala biker jacket or casual and a bit loose, just to make it effortless. And washed or pale-colored denim jacket is even cooler. Some celebs have wore denim jacket in pretty cool ways.

while Agy Deyn paired it with red tights, and keds for more fun and quirky style

Another splurge is Doc Martens. Yes, the 'masculine' shoes are back in town, and they're way more expensive (too bad). Choose it in electric colors such as yellow, purple, or green for a total awesome look.

After a long consideration (no, just joking!) i decided to write about fashion, i mean anything related to fashion, either designers, fashion week, the trend, the trendsetter, street style, others fashion blog bla bla bla. I think that the idea could make my blog more 'colorful' and fun and 'readable' (is there any such word?)..

For the first writing, i just want to post the latest lookbook from my fave label, namely, Boy by Band Of Outsiders. I've been paying attention about this label like 2 or 3 years ago, and sometimes i even get inspired by the looks. The style were boyish, ecletic, and casual. I didn't really think about what i should wear to work today, so again after a real late waking up, i just grabbed my favorite plaid shirt and tucked it in a high waist skirt. Then, supprisingly, the 'unplanned' mix and match did work quite well. There i was, off to work, joined my friend at X2 lounge for Ferry Corsten press conf. and then coming to a resto opening, Black Canyon Coffee that is, for my next writing. Hmm, it seemed okay, until i'm home and got bored...(*sigh)

What was i thinking? I dressed up too early this morning and ended up taking my own pics before i went to the office. The background was my bed room, one hell of a room anyway. It was quite messy and full of stuffs. You can see that there's a black hen doll right next to me. It was my lovely doll from my childhood :)

what-i-wear: I was out of inspiration today, so after bits of changing and throwing clothes off, i decided to wear my plaid top, tucked in a short i bought from forever 21, and then cover it up with also a forever21 blazer. Just to make it more 'interesting', i wore my black tights and my scarf again. ahh and the boots, i just bought it like last weeks from a local boutique...again, another cash spent, bummer!

Long weekend, because it's an election day on thursday, and then good friday, and then bla bla bla...anyway it's a such a long weekend when i'm off the hook..So, here it goes, I just got back from out of town with the big family...just chilling out, playing around, and do nothing but taking more and more photos...

what-i-wear: plaid shirt and bangles from forever21, skinny jeans from local shop, t-shirt from five crown, vintage scarf (yeah, that scarf again! i know, but i just love it), grey-purple converse and geeky glasses i borrowed from my cousin.

This is me 'destroying'' the children playground on the other day, :)

Yesterday's outfit was a 'kick-ass'...dunno why but i was suddenly just pull out my rock t'shirt, black jeans, piles of bangles, and my boots, then that's it! i went with all-black and a little shocking red from my beanies and bag (again i made this hand bag to a sling bag, to make it more...what?different i guess).

what-i-did: movie screening and then one more movie screening (this one was local movie called Jamilla and the president), and then up to the Jamiroquai concert in town...so i went home real late. that's why i just post this daily look...

Today's agenda: went out with some of my friends from work...we gotta cover some 'happening' sushi restos in town for our magazine. So, we ate, and ate, and ate lots of sushi (for free! i'm not lying), hmmmpfhh.... until we fully loaded, but it was great though, the sushis were superb!!!
